Let us all love
one another
---since love comes
from God.
God is love.

FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION OF THE EUCHARIST

Each first Friday of the month, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins after the 7:00 a.m. Mass and concludes at the 7:00 p.m. Mass.  Volunteers from the parish sign up for a half hour of adoration.

 NOVENAS/TRIDUUMS

Our Novena to the North American Martyrs begins on October 10 and ends on October 19, the feast of Isaac Jogues, John de Brébeuf and their Companions.

Our Triduum in honor of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha precedes her feast day on July 14.  It consists of Mass and a homily, usually by a guest speaker familiar with the young Indian woman’s life.

Mindful of the request by Jesus to Saint Faustina, the Novena to the Divine Mercy begins on Good Friday and ends on the following Saturday.

 PRAYER LINE

The parish has a prayer line for emergency requests.  Contacting the coordinator    begins a series of phone calls to inform participants.

 ROSARY

After the Saturday morning Mass, a group recites the rosary.   One of the intentions is that Blessed Kateri will be elevated to sainthood soon.

On one Sunday in May and one in October, we recite the rosary outside after Mass, at the statue of Our Lady.

Family Rosaries are held throughout the year.  This is a special recitation of the rosary designed for families.  We encourage all families, even with young children, to attend.  Remember — the family that prays together stays together.

 RETREATS

The men of the parish take part in a Friday to Sunday retreat in October, at

Calvary Retreat Center in Shrewsbury.

Other retreat opportunities are available throughout the year, including youth, catechists, couples, and women.
