RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION

The RCIA/RCIC program in our parish takes catechumens through the entire

process of initiation, instruction, and integration into the life of the Church in our parish.  It culminates on Holy Saturday, with Baptism/Confirmation and First Eucharist.

 LANDINGS

Landings is a comprehensive program to welcome returning Catholics.

A group of four or five active parishioners welcome two or three returning Catholics by sharing faith journeys, prayer, and discussion of Catholic spirituality.

ADULT FAITH FORMATION

It is essential for adults to renew, reflect upon, challenge, and embody their beliefs. Our Religious Education program offers catechist and parent workshops, Diocesan Collaborative courses, evenings of reflection, as well  as service and ministry opportunities.

 “Grieving for a Loved One”

A discussion and support group entitled “Grieving for a Loved One” is held periodically.  Anyone interested in this 8 week session, please call Joan Plume.  Each session includes viewing a short segment from Fr. Joe Kempf’s video series “No One Cries the Wrong Way” followed by discussion, sharing and prayer.

VIDEO GROUP

At a very informal gathering on Tuesday mornings, from 9:30 to 11:00, adults pray together and discuss various aspects of spiritual formation.  Video-taped presentations by noted speakers provide content for the discussion.

SMALL GROUP FAITH SHARING

Throughout the year and especially during the Advent and Lenten seasons, parishioners gather to read Scripture and commentaries and to share how these readings apply to their lives.
